If you have been considering increasing your HR knowledge or earning your HR certification, we can help you achieve your goal.

Our chapter is committed to providing our members with quality programs to help advance your career.  

 We offer chapter study groups to help you:

• Understand the material tested on the SHRM-CP (SHRM Certification Professional in Human Resources) or SHRM-SCP                                                    (SHRM Senior Certification Professional in Human Resources) exams.
• Keep on track with your HR studies and network with your peers. 

Fall Study Group -starts September 4th and will run for 12 weeks virtually on Wednesdays.

Early Bird Registration through 8/16/2024. Regular registration 8/17/2024 – 8/28/2024.

Registrations must be made no later than 8/28/2024 to participate.

1. GOSHRM member includes 2024 SHRM CP/SCP Learning System with books and 12 study group sessions.

SHRM COMPETENCY-BASED CERTIFICATION

SHRM has a HR certification program based on the competencies required to be an effective HR professional.

• The new SHRM Certification recognizes that HR professionals are at the core of leading organizational success.
• It is built on one singular SHRM Body of Competency & KnowledgeTM (SHRM BoCKTM.)

• It tests the HR professional's competency -- the ability to put that knowledge to work through critical thinking               and application.
• It demonstrates that the HR professional is a technical expert and has mastered the application of HR technical                        and behavioral competencies, through practice and experience, to drive business results.

There will be two levels to the certification:

SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM - CP) & SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SHRM - SCP).
